RECONCILIATION

How shall it pass if no work has been done?
Should we stand in silence and watch bridges burn?
We can stitch the wound almost good as new.
They’ll be a scar, but we will not be alone and blue

No one wins in war, we all suffer losses
We were friends before we destroyed our crosses
Shall we remain enemies after we both lie in defeat?
Let us hug each other and the hate between us resist!

I cannot wait for the day when I can once again rely on and trust you
Once again. My brother, my friend my one true comrade
We have gone through worse things for this to be an issue
Though deep within me, I may still be filled with rage!

I know we shall settle this squabble dear friend of mine
You are a rare gem, another so true will be a difficult find
