It happened in just less than a minute,
I wish I had the foresight to have seen it.
But here I am, a few days later,
Confessing through a piece of paper.
So there I was, moving away from the shitter,
It slipped from my hand, thinking I was a keeper.
After several attempts to no avail,
It fell into it, laughing at my fail.
Drying up the phone and putting it in rice,
Hoping for a miracle, I paid the price.
A moment of folly etched in my memory,
Asking myself, “Who in God’s name sent me?”
My device may never glow blue again,
Yet in this mishap, a lesson to gain.
