A MAN WITH NO WORRIES

They see a smile, believe my heart is light,
A carefree soul, untouched by worldly woes,
But deep within, I wrestle through the night,
With dreams and fears that only silence knows

Ambitions burn like stars within my mind,
Each one a beacon, calling me to strive,
Yet lacking means, I leave those dreams behind,
And in their place, I struggle to survive

The worries sit like shadows on my soul,
Their weight unnoticed by the passing crowd,
I hide them well, as waves that quietly roll,
Beneath the surface, where they’re not allowed

Till strength and chance align, and I am free,
To chase the dreams that ever beckon me.
